Drilling Now · Maiden Drill Program Underway

Modern defense depends on tungsten. GoldHaven is drilling for it now.

Tungsten sits inside modern defense systems, aerospace manufacturing, armor, precision tooling and semiconductors. China controls roughly 80% of supply. GoldHaven's maiden drill program is testing the historic Kuhn Tungsten Zone at the Magno Project in British Columbia right now.

America does not just want tungsten. It needs it badly.

Tungsten is one of the hardest, densest, highest-melting-point metals on earth. It is used where failure is not acceptable: defense systems, jet engines, cutting tools, mining equipment, chip manufacturing and extreme industrial applications.

There is no substitute. China controls tungsten. America stopped mining tungsten.

That gap is no longer theoretical. It is now a defense, manufacturing and supply-chain problem.

No substitute. No easy Western supply.

China controls ~80%.

Tungsten is not a metal you casually swap out. Its hardness, density, heat resistance and performance under pressure make it essential in applications where cheaper materials fail.

In core defense, aerospace, machining and high-performance industrial uses there is often no easy commercial substitute. The risk is now impossible to ignore.

Without tungsten, modern defense systems fail.

Tungsten sits beneath the surface of the modern defense economy. It is rarely the headline, but it is inside the machines, weapons and systems that matter most.

Washington is not waiting for the market to catch up.

The policy direction is clear: rebuild strategic mineral supply chains, reduce dependence on foreign-adversary sources and secure the materials required for defense, aerospace, energy and advanced manufacturing.

Investor question

Who has North American tungsten exposure, and a drill turning, before the market fully prices it in?

China tightened tungsten export controls4

In February 2025 Beijing put tungsten under export licensing, the clearest sign yet that the dominant producer will use supply as leverage.

This is where GoldHaven enters the tungsten story.

GoldHaven is a focused critical-minerals explorer advancing the Magno Tungsten Project in northern British Columbia: a large land position in a known mining district, historical tungsten work by major companies, a modern airborne survey, and a maiden drill program that is underway now.

37,200 hectares. One owner. A drill turning on a strategic metal.

The Magno Project gives GoldHaven district-scale exposure to tungsten in northern British Columbia's Cassiar District, a mining region with historical exploration, infrastructure advantages and a story that fits directly into the North American critical-minerals push.

  • 37,200-hectare land position, 100% owned
  • Historic Kuhn Tungsten Zone drilled by majors
  • 2,320.7 line-km airborne magnetic survey
  • North American jurisdiction
  • Maiden drill program underway

The biggest names in mining already drilled this ground.

Shell Canada. Cominco. Teck Resources. Others.

This was not ignored ground. It was explored before tungsten became a front-page strategic supply-chain issue. Then the timing was wrong. Now the world has changed, and GoldHaven is back on the ground with the first drill program in a generation.

The tungsten was found decades ago. Now GoldHaven is going back with modern exploration.

Historical work at Magno outlined tungsten mineralization at the Kuhn zone and produced historical estimates that give investors a starting point for understanding scale.

Historical estimate. Historical exploration by previous operators outlined a historical estimate of approximately 616,500 tonnes grading 0.48% WO₃ across four modeled mineralized lenses at the Kuhn and Dead Goat areas (Kuhn North Lower 3A: 409,300 t at 0.48% WO₃; Kuhn North Upper 3A: 78,700 t at 0.50% WO₃; Dead Goat: 100,900 t at 0.49% WO₃; Dead Goat Deeper Lens: 27,600 t at 0.39% WO₃). A Qualified Person has not completed sufficient work to classify the historical estimate as a current mineral resource or mineral reserve, and GoldHaven is not treating the historical estimate as a current mineral resource or mineral reserve. The historical estimate is considered relevant to investors as it demonstrates the presence of a significant tungsten-bearing system and assists in guiding exploration and drill targeting. Verifying the historical estimate as a current mineral resource would require review and validation of the historical data, verification drilling and completion of an updated mineral resource estimate.

Modern geophysics found what the old maps could not show.

GoldHaven flew a 2,320.7 line-kilometre airborne magnetic survey over Magno, the first modern, property-wide dataset on the project. It confirmed the historic Kuhn zone and generated new targets that the majors never had the tools to see.

The drill bit turns the tungsten thesis into an event investors can follow. Holes are designed to confirm the historic mineralization at Kuhn and test the new targets outlined by the airborne survey.

GoldHaven is focused. The tungsten problem is enormous. That is the asymmetry.

Investors are not being asked to believe tungsten suddenly matters. The evidence is already on the table:

  • Defense demandPenetrators, counterweights, nozzles and armor all run on tungsten.
  • Critical-mineral policyListed as critical in Washington and Ottawa.
  • Supply concentrationChina controls roughly 80% of global production.
  • Export controlsBeijing put tungsten under export licensing in 2025.
  • A Western supply gapBuilding for years, with no U.S. mine production since 2015.

The question is whether the market has fully priced in the few North American tungsten stories with a drill actually turning.

Four forces are converging on this North American tungsten story.

Force one

The tungsten re-rating

Tungsten has moved from obscure industrial metal to strategic supply-chain issue.
